When youre in this business, you have a few events that youre extremely grateful for. One of the highest highlights was working with an authentic Bluesman from Arkansas named Michael Michael K Burks. Michael and I hit if off immediately and he felt instantly like an old inner-circle friend. His playing was some of the most authentic blues playing Id ever heard, he was always a humble gentleman and it was a true blessing to know him. Playing the Blues wasnt for him a retro thing, a marketing thing, a way to make money, etc., it was what he did; on the road 300 days per year all around the globe. Michael passed away suddenly a couple of years ago and it was a true loss for us all. I want to share a video that shows Michael having fun with a crowd with the guitar.
