Whenever someone says Now, dont get angry... or Dont freak out... before they say something whole-ass stupid I literally always prepare to get really mad or really freaked out. The only way I can think to combat this is to interrupt them before they say the thing with Okay, but before you say that, dont poop your pants Then just sit back and await the inevitable. Thats right, thats the dirt button and Im gonna push it.
