Where I work, each vehicle is required to have a blanket on board. There are enough blankets for all the vehicles, but sometimes, obviously, they must be washed. While the blankets are in the washing machine, there are sometimes not enough to go around. One driver will then steal a blanket from another car. The driver of that car will steal a blanket from another car, and so on. Fortunately, theres no reason for any driver to hoard blankets. If there were, this would be a near-perfect metaphor for our financial system.
