One thing thats easing the burden, however, is nicer long-haul service, on Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, and Turkish Airlines, all serving New York. The Pasikuda area on the east coast of Sri Lanka in particular is sizzling with hotel development, where Anilana Pasikuda, Beach House Pasikudah, and Centara Passikudah have all opened recently. Thats sure to spur additional development—and even more options for the growing number of visitors in search of untrammeled tropical beaches.
