Where We Are Now Jesus Has Already Been Whether we are hungry, thirsty, suffering temptation, shame or even death, the Lord Jesus Himself, has personally been there ahead of us, and experienced all of these things and more. Christ Is Our High Priest So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for He faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive His mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most (Hebrews, 4:14-16). Jesus Is Right Along Side Of Us Jesus knows our every thought, worries, weakness, concerns, trials and pain. He see each circumstance and difficulty we face. But, we are comforted believing that He is right there along side of us, as we pass through those dark valley experiences. (Psalm, 23) Keep Looking Up While were looking down, Jesus is saying to us; look up to heaven. I lift up my eyes to you, to you who sit enthroned in heaven (Psalm, 123:1). Jesus Said Follow Me The living acting presence of Jesus in our lives, should truly inspire us to trust and follow Him, no matter where He leads us. Then Jesus called the crowd and His disciples to Him. “If any of you want to come with Me,” He told them, “you must forget yourself, carry your cross, and follow Me (Mark, 8:34). The Only Way To God All other ways we decide to travel in this short life, are narrow, crooked, dark alleys. But, trusting and following Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), has already gone ahead of us, and is the only way up to God. (John, 14:6).
