Where are they now? DIANE (Didee) TANNER/BENNETT Parents: Rusty and Belle Tanner 1. After leaving Qdi. Lived in New Zealand for 1 year, Singapore & Malaysia for 1 year and a few areas around Newcastle and have settled in Clarence Town. Have lived here for 26 years. 2. Have been with my Husband Mark Bennett for 36 Years. Hes a lovely man. 3. I had 3 Sons...Brett, Shane, Dean 4. I managed Service Stations for 15 years...Went to Tech and did my signwriting course and opened my own business called Dinky Di Signs. I am now a Marriage Celebrant (8 Years). 5. My passion has been Firefighting. Have been in the RFS as a firefighter for 23 years. I have been lucky enough to be deployed to some of the biggest fires Australia has ever seen. Stood down as Captain of my Brigade last year for health reasons so I now do Community Engagement. Received an OAM in 2010 for my work with the RFS. 6. I have had 2 heart attacks and just beat a rare disease (only 25 cases in the world). I dodged a bullet with this one. 7. I am Secretary of the Clarence Town ANZAC Committee. 8. 6 Grandbabies aged from 15 down to 3 years. I think thats about all....Hope you all do this as it would be nice to see what you have all been up to.
