Where do I start? Everything about Cephus was wonderful. My family was blessed to have him as our very own for some 8yrs. He definitely made a lasting impression on us just as he did everyone he came in contact with during his short 68yrs on earth. His picture is what one should see beside the definition of a Godly Man in the dictionary. He loved and was loved by all. He always put himself last right up till his last breath. He fought a good fight but his time on earth was done and he even told us on his death bed that God had a lot of work for him to do when he got to heaven. As weak and tired and hurting as he was during his darkest and final hours yesterday, he made sure that his house was in order with his family and friends. He talked to a room full of 25 or more about God and salvation and asked us if we were saved. This was extremely important to Cephus. He loved everyone and longs to see us all again one day soon in Heaven. We miss him so much. Life just isnt the same at 53 Dogwood Rd, it never will be. Although we are hurting and sad, we are truly grateful for Gods mercy and received Cephus into Heaven last night with open arms. He had suffered long enough in his earthly body, now we know he is rejoicing in his new one! What a glorious day yesterday was! All who witnessed Cephus home going was truly blessed by his love, kindness, and love for others till the end. I am so thankful that I was the chosen one that got to hold the love of my life in my arms while he crossed over. That blessed me beyond measure. Again, thank you to everyone who has called, texted, visited, prayed, etc...for us during this time. You all are special to us and appreciated and loved.
