Where do I start, the easy part is to thank you all for attending the first ever VanTica Show with all your beautiful cats. A massive thank you to Martine Calliard, Pascal Remy, Phillipa Holmes, Brigitte Berthelon (VanTICA’s very own patron) , Jane Allen and Sue Hart Jones, you all did an amazing job in truly unbearable heat. Our VanTASTIC clerks, who kept the judges going and kept the rings flowing without a hitch, a big call out to Francois, Rebecca, Jenny, Ray, Nicky, Val, Steven & Mark, a big round of applause to you all. Our amazing sponsors Tigga Towers, AWESOME Kitten Pens, Corcats Ragdolls, Mystere Persians and also Crrailiocats, Royal Canin, Cleopets, Hills and Almo Nature food. We had a great selection of stalls over the 2 days! Including everyone friends Tracey Baker and Lawnmeadow. Grateful thanks to Peter Monk for helping us set up on Friday, Lucy Lockyer for collecting bits for us from America, For the lovely Chocolates brought over from europe, Lynn Power and others for the fabulous raffle prizes, Richard and Carol Payne for arranging the catalogues and a BIG thank you to Andy Keech of City Apartments for his support, the loan of his van, and a truly fabulous donation of a private apartment as a raffle prize to be used with our own 2 day entry to our show next year in Milton Keynes. MANY CONGRATULATIONS to Jacky Bliss our worthy winner!! To everyones favourite Raffle Supremo Caryll Monument who managed the raffle tables for us, she did a sterling job. Amy May our VanTICAtastic Official Photographer, who spent the weekend taking photographs! A little birdie told me nearly 800 pictures taken and coming to a facebook page near you soon. A big round of applause for Pina and Derek from Bella Penning who worked hard all weekend with the penning for the show! We had fabulous support from Sue and Tony Yates of Oneforall club, who kindly loaned us the equipment for our first show and to Sally Gibbons for taking a lot of the equipment back up North! To you, our fabulous competitors, we are in awe of you all and your fabulous cats, your support was unending and your laughter loud! To my show team Nicki Fenwick-Ravin, Nicky Goulter, Christine Hoyland, Celia “The Chef” Kelly, my mum Elizabeth Margaret Lombard and also Andrew Jordan-Lombard. Without you we would not have had a show. I hope everybody loved their goody bags, rosettes and lovely plaques. A superb fitting end to a fabulous show was the magnificent Best of the Best presentation, thank you all for joining in and making it so very special. What an amazing weekend!
