Where, in the bible, does it state that what a person wears to church is a gesture of respect to God? Jesus was swaddled in rags when born. He died on the cross wearing a cloth. I thought showing respect and love to God and Jesus was to give your heart, be a good person, and not judge others. In fact, I understand that one doesnt even HAVE to go to church to please our lord. Its all in your heart people. I love to go to church, but if I cant or choose to pray and worship in my home or on a mountain top, in rags or my best dress, I think I will still be heard because it comes from my heart.
