Where is a good place for a Left Libertarian to live? ::posted Sun, 09 Nov 2014 16:20:09 +0000:: ift.tt/1GENDi6 Im very socially progressive. Im not a fiscal conservative. I believe in single-payer or socialized medicine. But I have long found that progressives have not made a priority over issues that are priorities for me, such as privacy and surveillance. I live in an overwhelmingly Democratic city, but the Democrats here have no qualms about instituting red light cameras, license plate readers and cabaret laws (restrictions on music performances in nightlife venues). I just dont know if I can live like this, but where can I go? I feel like progressive strongholds like Berkley or Amherst might be worse in some ways. I feel like libertarian strongholds are going to be too Ayn-Randian for me. Wheres a good place for a Left Libertarian to live in the U.S.?
