In the year 2013 (Jan-Dec) the Ministry of Home affairs has attributed 23 deaths in India to terror attacks by Islamic terrorists, excluding 4 civilian deaths in J&K. In the same period, the Ministry of Home Affairs has attributed 397 deaths in India to terror attacks by Maoists. In the same period, the Ministry of Home Affairs has attributed 107 civilian deaths in terror attacks by various militant groups in Indias North East (none of the Islamic terrorists) via- Nilim Dutta
