Where to friggin start!! I got a list as long as my arm here...So many people to thank and praise, whilst my hangover finally comes to an end. I wish I could tag everyone in here but this thing has a limit, so I will say this. A MASSIVE heart felt thank you to everyone who turned up to Miss Soxee presents Open Decks & Birthday Celebrations at The Vortex, all those who tuned into the audio and video stream! I appreciated the feedback on the audio and video stream, as it is always stressful to keep track of what is going on at the event and online. Karen, Mark and Stanny Sista! thank you for that! Wow...every month the selection by our vinyl contributors just continues to blow me away. MASSIVE shouts to this months contributors Pam Hall Deborah Steele Patrick Steele Geoff Geffhino Henry Leon Paul Beyond Tone and Ket Shah All your sets were outstanding! Lovely to see some of you step out of your comfort zone and play different genres. Tore the roof off ! I must say well done to the girls for stepping up to the decks and handling business! You were naturals! Patrick! Thank you for all your support and guidance doing this event. Much appreciated. It is always nice to hear that out of this event, people get renewed interest in vinyl and music that they do not usually get to hear or play. Very inspiring :) BIG UPs to my parents :v, who were not my parents who came to support. THE BUTCHER from the Kingsland road :v :v ALL the staff Vortex Downstairs who worked hard taking all your food and drink orders and got involved in the dancing LOVE IT! SHOCKED about my cake! Loved it! Thank you Charlie Casley and fab baker Louise Wright who did save the day cake wise, as myself, Janeth Medina and Beyond Tone all got one each :). BIG UP Mama Tone and Uncle Tone for bringing fire to the dancefloor with their moves! Thank you Michael, Tay, Sarah and Rich, Maddie and Darcie for coming down...been too long.
