Where to start ... my little Benjamin bunny has passed away. I came home after work on Monday to find his beautiful little self under a tree in the yard; it looked like his neck had been broken and there was evidence of a dog in the yard and some struggle. Anyway, the details dont matter; my heart is broken and I loved this little guy so much. He was my little guy and he had such a lovely personality -- just sweet and silly. He took such good care of Lola too --grooming her, sleeping next to her, playing with her and I think he may have even sacrificed his life to save hers. I dont know. All I know is that I loved him more than I have loved any other pet. Who knew a bunny could be such a great friend? The past two days without him have been so strange -- I still say his name when I come home to greet him; I still put food in his bowl and Lola and I seem like were still waiting for him to hop right back through the door. Im happy I had 5 years with this little amazing creature who made me smile and laugh and who brought joy into my life when so many things were going wrong. He will be greatly missed.
