Where was he?: He was in the valley until he started seeing his face on posters. After that, mostly WeHo and Hollywood. Every morning he went to a church for meditation, then he went to the LGBT center to shower. They gave him clean clothes and he could hang out there with his friends all day. In the evenings he was going out to clubs. Then hed sleep on the street. He very calmly told me that he had a nice piece of cardboard. How was he found?: The tipline! A stranger saw his poster and called the 800 #. What happened to him?: From the sound of it, he was having a pretty great time out there. He decided he wanted to be on his own. He told the police, me, and the counselors at the treatment center that there was nothing wrong at home. The intake therapist said it was remarkable how positive he was about me and about home, how he had nothing but good things to say, but he also said that he just wants to make his own way. What now?: For the next 30-45 days he will be in Malibu at a really lovely facility. I cant predict whats going to happen, but my hope is that he can use that time to feel relief from pressure and start to feel some happiness again. I need to thank all of you for every moment of support, every share, every time you helped me keep my head together. Yesterday he looked at the FB page and even though he didnt want to be found, it did matter to him that you were looking. !!! Thank you. Thank you. Hes off the streets!
