Where world peace comes from? People are talking a lot about world peace. And those discussions do not always seem to be very peaceful themselves. Many are shouting, making statements, blaming each other but they cannot find peace and harmony in the discussion itself. They are looking for the roots of conflicts at the wrong places. Some people are blaming religions in everything bad that happens in the world. But books do not kill innocent people, do not take money for bearing false witness and making false judgement, do not put innocents to jail and release criminals. The knife can be used for cooking food and it can be used for killing people. The same with words. Everyone has responsibility for himself and for his actions. Everyone has chance to stop at any moment and think whether it is good what he does. Everyone can ask himself: Does my heart agree with what I do and what I say? Will people will say thank you to me? Will people remember me as a kind and honest person? Will they respect me? Is there anything that I may regret about later? It is important to understand that we CAN live in peace with each other without constantly blaming each other. Most of people want to be happy, live simple joyful everyday life. The expectations of most of people around the world are quite similar. One just need to find peace with his neighbours, people who live in his city, in his country. Sometimes it is even enough to shut up and listen to the neighbour without anxiety and aggresion. Inner silence and independent thinking is very important. When someone is gentle and kind to people in communication but strong and unshakeable inside with his own independent judgements and beliefs, he can change things to better and bring friendship and harmony. And this harmony is not a final goal, but it should be just a normal way of life. Many people blame the whole nations because of their leaders. It is important to understand that political leaders of the nations do not always represent the position and mind of the whole nation. They may come to power by telling lies with smiles on their faces, and after being elected, follow foreign interests and do things that bring the country to catastrophe. Yes, they spoil peoples minds by their ugly propaganda and false patriotism which does not bring anything good to nation, but only the hate to others. But usually it is not the majority who spread hate. But those who do it, shout the most loud. Normal peaceful people are not always heard in all this noise. Some people say: Those people are our enemies, because they attacked us 200 years ago. How long will we remember all the evil of the centuries? Generations change, young people may not necessarily want to be enemies with their neighbours. But those judgements that survived centuries, old prejudices, that still are disturbing peoples minds, they often make young people confused, and they dont know where is the truth. The truth may be found when one will find harmony within himself, within his heart. Everything is wrong and evil what was build on hate, and it all has a bad end. Nazism was built on hatred to jews and people of other races. Communism was built on hatred to rich and educated people. Many wars have appeared when people thought that their misson was to hate people of other confessions. In the XVI century protestants, forgetting that the main commandment of Christianity is love, have declared their hatred to catholics, and as a result, many bloody conflicts appeared, it all has brought only chaos, devastation and massacres. Do not build your confession and your patriotism on hate. Otherwise you will come to a wrong place. Before talking about the world peace, try to find peace in your heart and your mind. I think a man who cannot find peace with his neighbours in his house and district, with compatriots in his country, he cannot bring anything good discussing the ways to the world peace. One must love peace, harmony, silence, friendliness, simple joy and wisdom to start fighting for the world peace. Everything starts from our own hearts.
