Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, God sees, God cares. Sometimes He leaves us to our own deices because we have rejected His authority in some area of our life. We think, well Im doing pretty good. Ive done everything but that one thing. But God always focuses on the one thing, because its that one thing that makes your life disjointed and out of place. He longs for you to make the right decision in that one thing because when you do, your life will become totally connected to Him. Until then, you are hanging on by a thin thread. You feel it. You know it. Make that one thing right, whatever it is. God gives you grace in that He will not make lightning strike you, however if the lightning comes your way, He probably wont do anything about it. Why? Because you said you didnt need His help in that one area. So, He is leaving you alone to deal with it. When you turn over that area to Him, you are going to see things in a whole new light. It may not physically be any different, but you will feel different. You will. And all the while God is not mad at you for thumbing your nose at Him and not taking His commands to heart. No, Hes madly in love with you and cannot wait for you to turn your life around so He can pour His blessings on you!
