Whether or not there is a Yes vote in the referendum, we must be very clear that outsourcing is privatisation. That paying private companies to provide public services is not public investment. That a service which is free at point of use is not necessarily owned, governed, and managed by the people. And that efficient tax collection will have to be combined with wage and tax increases to fund the public services we need for an Independent Scotland to exemplify what can be done.
