Whether or not you are a fan of the Grateful Dead, there is no denying that this legendary group has been a major force in music and pop culture for the last half century. Even after the death of frontman Jerry Garcia in 1995, the Core Four, as the remaining members are called, have continued to tour and fill stadiums wherever they go. Today, mail-order ticket sales opened for the Deads final concert, to be held in July at Soldier Field in Chicago, the site of Jerrys last performance 20 years ago. It is a bittersweet occasion for legions of Deadheads around the world. On that note, here is a beautiful, wistful tune by the Grateful Dead, Attics of My Life, performed by the Lamont Mens Choir in Denver, CO.
