Whew! A whopping FIFTY-TWO (52) wagonloads of sand out of the tunnel today. Thats right, its about double our last record. Before you get too excited, this is the first time - and probably the last time - that we were able to take sand out both ends of the tunnel at the same time. Dave chiseled 22 loads to finish up the ramp at maze finish while I hauled his sand across the zip line, meanwhile Kaz and Wonka loaded and hauled out a whopping 30 loads of sand out of the sitting room. Thats all the sand we had placed in the sitting room so we didnt have to pull the wagon up the last slope on the way out. Were done taking sand out the main entrance, so we cleared out the sitting room and can once again sit in it comfortably. Dave finished a curve to assist in getting the wagon started up the ramp and widened the tunnel back to where a ton of sand is queued for removal out the finish next time were out there. Once thats done, we can resume regular progress on the crawl maze. That should be one or two trips from now. So this long pause we needed to create the maze exit and prepare to remove sand out the exit is almost done! By Sandmas we will be deep inside the maze again. The pace will pick up too, its not too far from there out the finish.
