Whew! What a day!!! Good Samaritan Rehabilitation Thrift Store sold $1,200 worth of THRIFT STORE merchandise in the first hour and a half, despite the first customer who walked in, looked around, and said our store must be full retail because it looked TOO nice! We exceeded the goal we set for the day, and now our rent and utilities are covered for the month! My favorite sale of the day was the 108 year-old book that I researched and priced out - the last sale of the day. Theres still a lot of beautiful merchandise for sale, and more coming on the floor throughout the day. If you missed the grand opening, not to worry - we have plenty of stuff yet to sell.
