Which Demons Should We Fight In Nigeria? Good morning ladies - TopicsExpress

Which Demons Should We Fight In Nigeria? Good morning ladies and gentlemen, let us shift away today from emotional subject and focus on our country, Nigeria, and also the so called demons in the land. The way we are advertising demons in this country is alarming, the reference and recognitions we are giving to demons are getting out of hand. We are gradually making the demons our centre of attraction, and funny enough, most of our pastors have left their callings, they now focus on killing, binding, laminating and stitching demons. Though Im not saying we should not fight demons, but which demons should we focus on more? Infact, what are our major demons in Nigeria? Follow me... From the number of posters and programs with beautiful titles such as; Point and Kill Demons, Satan say your last prayer, Demons, Enough is Enough, Operation Massacre, War on Demons, I shall see their end and so on. We can rightly conclude that Nigeria has the highest number of demons in the world. There is no kind of demons that our funky men of God have not claimed to have power to destroy, just name any symptom and there is a demon for it in Nigeria. It is only in Nigeria that I have heard of exam-failure demons, pregnancy-stopping demons, bloodsucking demons, poverty demons, orobo demons, lepa demons, Arsenal demons, disappointment demons, network failure demons, short devils and plenty more. The way we talk about demons makes it seem as if their population is more than us, its like our airspace is full and cluttered with them. The amazing part of this is that while the number of people who claim to possess the power to chase out demons keep increasing geometrically, the number of demons show no signs of reducing, if anything, they are growing in numbers and are even forming associations. The proclamation of demons does not end in churches alone again, our government and relevant agencies have borrowed it; whenever an aircraft crashes, the minister of aviation will tell us its the work of demons; whenever Super Eagles lost a match, our coaches will tell us its the work of unseen forces; whenever we experience power failures, we blame agent of darkness; whenever an accident occurs, we blame bloodsucking demons; if building collapses and kills people, we blame ritualists. Even our president recently blamed demons for the problems confronting the country. All these talks about demons, witches and wizards are symptoms of the high level of frustration, laziness and corruption in the land. Meanwhile, why are these demons not in USA, Britain, Germany, Japan, China, France, Dubai, Canada and other developed countries? Is it that they fear the people of these countries or what? Why are they only found in places riddled with poverty and corruption such as Nigeria? The only demons I think we need to deliver ourselves from are the demons of corruption, demons of political unrest, demons of endless academic strike, demons of internal insurrections, demons of accidents (road and air), demons of early child marriage (Yerimalised demons), demons of erratic power supply, demons of mismanagement, demons of laziness, demons of tribalism, demons of nepotism etc. We often resort to blaming spiritual forces for our misfortunes because we are afraid to accept our weaknesses and failures, are we not ashamed of ourselves? I wish the demons can come out to refute all these allegations leveled against them by our leaders and pastors. But I know, if demons could talk, they will have lots to tell Nigeria and Nigerians; for examples, if demons could talk, they would be telling Nigerians that they are not responsible for the purchase of 2 vehicles at N256 million, which could have cost N16 million to buy. If demons could talk, they would be screaming at Nigerians that they are not responsible for ASUU strike. If demons could talk, they would be telling Nigerians that if necessary actions are taken in aviation industry, air mishaps would be minimal. If demons could talk, they would be pointing accusing fingers at the bad roads, careless drivers and badly maintained vehicles for the incessant road accidents in the country. If demons could talk, they would be telling Nigerians that they are not responsible for unemployment. If demons could talk, they would be telling us that they are not responsible for our social and infrastructural failures. If demons could talk, they would be telling Nigerians that if hospitals are well equipped, mortality rate will reduce drastically. If demons could talk, they would be telling Nigerians that they are not responsible for power failures. If demons could talk, they would be telling Nigerians that they are not responsible for the billions being stolen from the country everyday. If demons could talk, they would be telling our leaders that the problems confronting the country is as a result of bad leadership. Ladies and gentlemen, I know if demons could talk, they will have lots to tell us. Dont label me an apostle of demons or an Anti-Christ, Im not. Im talking from a nationalistic point of view. Demons are not responsible for our problems as a country, our leaders are. Let us stop using spiritual forces as excuse for our failures, inadequacies, laziness, shortcomings and flaws, because most of our problems in Nigeria are not supernatural, they are natural and should be solved naturally and pragmatically. Undemonised, reasonable and sensible people, good morning. Wonderful weekend.
