Which came first, the chicken or the egg? A Creationist has no - TopicsExpress

Which came first, the chicken or the egg? A Creationist has no problem answering that because a persons worldview influences all his thinking. Every action is based upon a belief and every belief is based upon a presupposition. We call this a Worldview. A worldview is the sum total of a persons assumptions, beliefs, philosophy and faith. That is why it is illogical to hear someone say, I dont get into politics or religion, as if there is a Berlin Wall separating the two or separating the two from all other aspects of life. There is no area of life safe from a persons worldview. The basic areas of study, Theology, Philosophy, Science, Biology, Sociology, Psychology, Law, Politics, Economics and History are a result of your worldview or the sum of a populous worldview shared by academia. Take the current debate on Common Core, a federalized approach to education. (When has a centralized government ever done anything efficiently? - See, there comes my worldview. :)) My State Representative, who is on the fence on the issue, told me Common Core began with Math and English, because it is less controversial. They are holding back history because that is where the war really gets hot. The worldview of liberals is that America is the worst thing that has ever happened to the world and the most evil ones were people like Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, Madison, Patrick Henry, the people who managed the Indian affairs and all white people because they got where they are due to the economic advantages slavery afforded them. In history, their heroes are liberation leader Che Guevara, migrant union organizer Cesar Chavez, Rosa Parks, Nelson Mandela, educator John Dewey, union leader Walter Reuther, Bishop Desmond Tutu and a host of liberal icons. The result is school and community rules which forbid the American Flag to be flown because it might offend somebody. The presupposition for the sciences is the absence of God. So they begin with nothing and try to develop an imaginary scheme, spotted with high-sounding concepts, to explain how particles became persons, hoping you dont ask where did the particles come from. The premise behind economics is above. Everybody should share in the rewards of the labor of a few and if someone has less than others, it isnt because they lack incentive or are lazy, it is because the haves are beneficiaries of unfair system. Psychology is usually considered the creation of religion rather than the result of a Creator. Philosophy is also an attempt to explain life without a god. Law is a composite of the opinions of man, rather than based upon the God-given 10 Commandments, which we know to be true. So, disagree with the religious people all you want, just never say you dont get into religion and politics, because, brother or sister, you are drowning it them. - CMH
