While Casey was at work, Harleigh was jumping on the couch one night and I asked her to please stop and to sit on her booty. I told her this twice and the third time she got a spanking and I made her sit in her time out chair. I then made her tell me why she got a spanking. It took a while for her to finally get it out but she was aware that she got a spanking because she was jumping on the furniture and mama told her not to! Well, tonight I was telling Casey what happened and he told me to look at Harleigh... Her eyes were really big and she looked at me then looked at Casey and said daddy, not jump on chair.... You get a whoopin. I dont want it to be misunderstood when I say it made me proud, but to know I got my point across and for her to understand and remember does make me proud. Do understand her spanking was only 2 pops on her leg, nothing drastic! Its hard to discipline a child sometimes but I do believe every child should be corrected and taught right & wrong. My mama whooped me and made me mind as a kid, tho it took several spanking sessions for me to learn to stop talking in class! Ha.
