While I do think Sanders does have an excellent platform compared to Clinton and whatever Republican emerges next year as the front runner. I dont see the electorate, much less the Democrats backing an old, Jewish, haberdasher from Vermont and one who has views that would put the Great society coalition to shame. I dont see Sanders achieving much in the 2016 primaries other than serving as a wedge or possibly a spoiler for the Dems, which will effectively kill him politically, much like they did Nader.
