While I love Stellars North American Stallion Testing photos, I have to say that this photo from the dressage phase of his first under saddle show in 2013 with Chelsea Deephouse--the dressage phase of a starter horse trial--is one of my all-time favorites! I love his presence and expression as they get ready to enter the ring! Stellar placed third of twelve that day, and was within 1% of the first place horses dressage score. Due to Stellars extended breeding schedule this year, we didnt get to any shows, but he is now in full-time training with Tracy Rowe and is doing great! We cant wait to see them make his debut at rated shows in 2015! Stellar does have another feather in his cap from this year--his first foal presented to RPSI, Rafinja of New Horizons, received Gold Premium with an overall score of 8.1 and was Site Inspection Champion Filly! :-) Rafinja is pictured with her silver classified dam, Ricola DTA, who was awarded RPSI Premium status and was Site Inspection Champion Mare. :-)
