While I love snack mixes, there are usually a few items I end up picking out, leaving me with either ¼-½ of the original mix depleted, which wastes money. But now that I found a snack bar in the organic section of our Krogers, I pick out the things I like, only getting enough for a few days so it doesnt go bad, and I end up with a snack mix designed exactly for me, at a fraction of the cost of already packaged snack mixes. I mix them in a container, put tiny disposable dental cups beside the jar and in 2 seconds I can scoop and go. Plus the small cups help with portion control. FYI: Dont let the price-per-pound freak you out. $6.99/lb cashews can turn out to be as little as you wish by starting with a small amount. My mix here came to about $4.50 and divided per day was $0.65. Cant beat that! #customsnackmix #eathealthy
