While I spent all of last week working on my novel, partially to prove to myself I had it in me to organize my thoughts in that way again. Which I did. Ive realized that Im not a novelist, and really have no interest in becoming one. For years, Ive used my writing as tool for self healing and for helping to shape my thought and to find my voice in a time where both were difficult things for me to do. So instead of continuing to work on the novel out of some need to prove the folk wrong who used to badger me with You never finish anything you start, Im going to prove those folk wrong, by finishing something I started a long time ago. Creating tools to help myself and others cope with difficult times. So instead of a novel, The next Merlin Tree Project will be a titled The Merlin Tree, healing hearts and minds sitting.
