While I was at the Mattress Firm, looking for a new mattress, the salesman started to talk to me and showed me some mattresses, (of course, he was not looking at me) I politely told him that I am deaf and read lips. He was dumbfounded and did not know that I am deaf. So, he was very polite and talked to me with no problem. While he was putting in the orders in computer, he was just curious if I knew any sign language. I told him that I do know sign language. He told me that he only knew a very little sign language. I asked him what it was that he knew. This is funny....he was signing "you dance awkward". I teased and asked him if that was his pick up line to me? Oh, boy!! I was trying hard not to laugh, his face just turned RED after I asked him that!!! He continued to finish the order. He was a nice guy, but it was too funny to see his face turned red!
