While I was cleaning out my email, I came across this in the SPAM filter..... what a piece of garbage. Dear Fellow Republicans, I really need your help! As you may be aware, my re-election campaign has been under attack by an "anonymous group" tied to government union bosses. Over the past few months, these liberal unions have been using mailers, phone calls and door to door activities to spread outright lies and distortions about me. In fact, they have already sent six mailers in my district attacking me, and there is no doubt in my mind they will continue throughout the election. On top of all of this, recently, an Obama supporter and someone with deep ties to the Democrat Party, filed a frivolous, blatantly false legal complaint against me and an entity I formed to combat these very same groups and individuals. Will you help me fight back against these government union bosses and liberal Democrats? Help me fight back! This is no more than an attempt to intimidate me and stop me from supporting fiscal reforms that drain their slush funds for pay raises and bonuses, negatively impacting the hardworking taxpayers. There intimidation tactics will not work and will not deter me from doing the right thing for the taxpayers. Your support is critical to the success of my campaign as these attacks are just the beginning. These government union bosses and liberal Democrats will stop at nothing to defeat me and will fund my opponent to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. That is why I need your help today. I will continue doing all I can to create jobs, cut government waste and bring fiscal accountability and transparency to government.
