While I was in my living room this afternoon after Sunday worship service.a thought dropped in my heart that a lot of times God intentionally brings certain situation or certain people to us to work on our Obedience and submission to His sovereignty which is actually to our benefit. But ample atimes what do we do? We look for ways to give ourselves temporary solace,flesh gratification,honor e.t.c Rather than obeying or surrendering and allow God glorify us by Himself which is more gratifying,honorable,comforting and permanent Isaiah 61:7 And thereby we prolong the Journey to greatness! just like the Israelite in the wildernessand negatively affecting the generation to come Yes! Cos our Obedience is tied to many destinies. My prayer;God help me to always be willing to lay at your alter(honor,self gratification and so on) I would want to keep for myself.
