While I was pregnant with Mia I had gestational diabetes. It was a pain to keep my sugars on check with diet and exercise but I did. I always questioned if I really had it. Then I read the below statement in my Intuitive Childbirth course talking about how it is a very inaccurate test. Approximately 15-20% of women who take the glucose tolerance test will come back with abnormal or high results, but only 2-5% of pregnant women actually have gestational diabetes.
