While I was pumping gas I was standing in the proximity of a young woman pumping as well. A fire truck whipped down the road with siren blaring and my reaction was nothing... Hers was a knee jerk reaction to cross herself. Like it was hypnosis kicking in. She didnt acknowledge the truck she just stopped what she was doing and crossed herself. That being said... Am I an awful person that I dont immediately send my prayers to any given situation that a fire truck goes to? Or does the girl in question seem like shes a little crazy?
