While Jaime, was still in the hospital, after Jasper was born, and I was working, Jaime sent me a text that says I wish you were here in return I sent her a link: Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here: youtu.be/NavVfpp-1L4 Later when I arrived at the hospital, she mentioned that it was the first song Jasper ever heard. And tonight, the extended version of shine on you crazy diamond seemed to calm Jasper to sleep when he was fussy while I contemplated that night at the hospital. I thought If I had known I was chosing Jaspers first song ever would I have chosen something else or even thought of that song at all? After thinking it over, Im quite pleased with Jaspers very first song on earth being by one of my favorited and quite possibly the most influential bands in history.
