While Mireya is asleep again, im taking a few quick minutes to post an update and ask for prayers. Whatever she has going on is really taking a tole on her little body. She has lost 6 ox in the past 3 days, which for some babies isnt a lot when sick, but for a baby who has fought for months to put that much on it is not good for her. Her WBC is high and her neut counts are really high, meaning her lil body is working hard to fight off something. Right now we are thinking its intestinal since she is unable to go poop, is in pain and has some blood in her stool. She has a fever off and on too. She isnt eating much at all....not food or her formula. She is happy though for the most part when awake, just in pain and sleeping a lot. Xray showed she isnt backed up like she would be with constipation, but she is a lil and dr isnt sure why. We saw her ped in the er last night, her ped in the office today and if she isnt improving by tomorrow he wants to see her again.
