While Raila was holding his first rally in Kilifi to drum up - TopicsExpress

While Raila was holding his first rally in Kilifi to drum up support for the referendum after falling out with Kilifi North MP, Gideon Mungaro, the rebel group was in Kwale trashing the same referendum. Led by Mung’aro, the rebel group de-campaigned Raila Odinga to the extent that they incited the people of Coast not to support him because he never helped them when he was the Prime Minister. Mung’aro noted that Raila Odinga’s referendum is a ploy to make him relevant politically after losing terribly to Uhuru/ Ruto in the last election and urged Coast residents not to be fooled by him. His sentiments were echoed by Lunga Lunga MP, Khatib Mwashetani, who told Raila to drop his referendum because Kenyans want development and not his backward politics. Mung’aro’s rally attracted a bigger crowd than Raila Odinga’s who had a crowd of less than 100 people to address to the utter surprise of many.
