While Republican leaders in the House waste time bringing up bills about suing the president and rolling back the Endangered Species Act, we have more pressing issues to address. Overnight 236 new wildfires broke out in the western U.S. The Forest Service has barely any money left in its budget to fight fires, but instead of addressing this, the Republican-controlled House is about to go on recess. I spoke on the floor this morning because I think this is ridiculous.
