While after a certain amount of thought, I think I can see what theyre going for, the titles of a lot of books written about Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans and suchforth almost seem to imply that the storm *itself* was racially motivated: Racing the Storm: Racial Implications and Lessons Learned from Hurricane Katrina, Neoliberal Deluge: Hurricane Katrina, Late Capitalism, and the Remaking of New Orleans (this one isnt helped by the first two sentences of the summary sounding like the storm was created from political decisions), After the Storm: Black Intellectuals Explore the Meaning of Hurricane Katrina, How Do Hurricane Katrinas Winds Blow? Racism in 21st-century New Orleans, for example. Just an interesting trend I noticed.
