Fortunately he Survived. Senna visited Barrichello immediately to make sure he was OK. Day 2: 30th April 1994, Saturday Session: Roland Ratzenberger from Mtv Simtek Ford ran into the opposing concrete barrier,Unfortunately he did not survive the accident. And the cause of the accident remains still a mystery and conspiracy theories but one thing, Its an utter mechanical failure of his car that lead to his death. at accident scene Sid Watkins : ....And then he sighed.. and his body relaxed and that was the moment, i am not religious but i thought its Aryton departed.
