While coming home on the metro today, I noticed a young man (mid-twenties) looking at me. I ignored it, and he got off at the same stop I did. When i turned a corner to walk up the stairs, he politely tapped me on the shoulders and asked est-ce je peux avoir ton numero de telephone? (translation: could i have your phone number?) I politely declined, saying I had no phone, and also threw in the fact that I am still only 15. The look on that poor guys face. He just started stumbling over his words and apologizing and proceeded to back away slowly. Men get so easily confused. Poor guys.
