While doing your travels remember to get a confirmation number. I have had a number of people who thought they made reservations with expedia or with a hotel and were charged but did not actually make reservations. Always always always get a confirmation number. always double check with the hotel before arriving that you do indeed have a reservation if in doubt. If your scammed out of your money there is noting the hotel can do.
