While dreaming in the paint isle at Lowes ,I saw a women with a plate, same color as a sample I was holding, I turned to her and said OMG, I love that plate, it was even scalloped, I said look at my color it matches the plate (faint light aqua marine) , we chuckled, I said I am dreaming of owning a store and what all I would paint, she said she was a designer for Habitat for Humanity, well, that was it, we talked forever, she had all kinds of samples, I was like a both to a flame between her southern drawl and kindness...She is working on a home for a women who is 75, lives in one room with one chair and a bed, that is it...she called when her pipes burst last winter, elder care, to whom my new friends son is director, she didnt care about water for herself, but her two rescue dogs, she bought a trailer, 20 Years ago, but only one room stands:( They jimmied her water to work, the son, told this wonderful women, Corliss, about the elder womens plight, she got habitat on board, someone donated a dilapidated house to the elder women, Phyllis, whom also hadnt had a hug in 25 years....I started to cry when she told me the story, I asked if I could help, I told her I have nothing, but love and two hands that could do anything she needed, even just to listen, Corliss then cried, and said , God is so good, I told her a little bit of my story, I told her, she was my blessing, that God wants us all to help one another, and my God loves everyone. So, after this long story , what I came away with, is just when I thought my life was over, darkest, and barely ambling along, sometimes your ending is your beginning
