While excited to welcome a new member to the Wells clan, we say goodbye to the patriarch. My Grampa passed away peacefully on Friday, July 25th in his 87th year. Always the joker, well miss his GJs (Grampa-Jokes), how he strove to always bring humility and laughter into any situation. Life is for living, have a beer and enjoy! Theres always room for dessert (when I learned that he was once a Dads Cookie salesman my first thought was he couldnt have been very good at that, would have eaten half his supply!) The biggest Argos fan I knew, he bled double blue. There wasnt a happier man in the Rogers Centre in 2012 watching his team win the Grey Cup at home. The endless banter with my cousins, Grampa vs. Papa - whatever we each called him, well certainly miss this man. Ill always be your pumpkin. Well remember him together at the Black Dog Pub (87 Island Road, Scarborough), Wednesday July 30th between 1 and 3 pm.
