While having a quick dinner earlier, I was seated beside two decent middle-aged women. As I was about to finish my food, one of them randomly told me that my aura is very light and positive - although she sensed that physically, I wasnt well. She then proceeded to ask for my birth year which I politely responded to. She then told me that I was born in the year of the rat. And with this year being the year of the horse - I will be having a hard year and that I should prepare myself that the next couple of months will be full of challenges from all angles. According to her, these hardships will turn to good fortune next year since she sees that I am destined for a lot of great things. Feeling the back of my head burning, I was praying in my mind on how to handle the situation. In my head, I was already nullifying what was being said. I then smiled politely and said with great confidence: thanks for the insight but I know this is going to be a great year. Every year becomes better for to others, I might have been born in the year of the rat but I personally know that I was born in the year of the Lord 1984. And God only has greater plans in store for me. I believe in the promise of the Lord and no amount of bad predictions could waver what I already know that Gods promises are more accurate than whatever calendar will dictate. She then smiled and said sorry if I was offended. I told her I wasnt. I said I was not shaken at all because my faith is in tact and I only have faith in the Lord. I then stood up and did not wait for my bill to arrive but went to the cashier and paid for it so as to leave the conversation at that. Then as I was leaving - she quickly waved and said God bless you. With your faith, I think you will have a good year. And just like that, I know and am even more confident that I will knowing that Gods promises are not dictated by the stars but by His grace and His love for all of us. Happy Monday everyone!
