While having my lunch at home, I read the New Paper. Today, front page s article is about our late veteran actor, Huang Wenyong. He died from lymphoma last year, April 2013 at age 60 , leaving behind his wife, a 27 years old son and a 23 years old daughter . What was the fuss about ??? That made Huang Wenyong in the front page s headline ??? Well, the late actor have his own wax figure unveiled at the newly opened Madame Tussauds Singapore on Thursday. But it was marred with insensitive remarks and comments online. A netizen commented, Why him? What contributions did he make? Just because he died? His daughter , Nicole Ng , responded on her Facebook and Instagram, calling the comment disrespectful and insensitive . Huang Wenyong is one of the pioneer actors of local TV in Singapore. He is best remembered for his role in the 1984 chinese drama , The Awakening in which he starrred opposite our pioneer actress, Xiang Yun. Huang Wenyong received the Top 10 favourite Male Artist title at the 2011 Star Awards for the first time after being in showbiz for three decades. Now, let me have my fair share to speak out. Everyone has their own preference or personal opinion. BUT , it is not right to put people or things down, just because it is not your cup of tea. Yes, everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. I , myself is not perfect. But , as you people can see. There are so many Facebook friends , who always post or put up right values or compassionate ideology and Buddhist or Christian scriptures on the internet especially on Facebook. So ? But ? Do you yourself preaches what you want others to know and accept the course of action and belief ?? It is very disrespectful to give or pass insensitive remarks or comments. Especially there are a lot of people who like to blame Our Government for a whole lots of things. A good Government will yield a successful country. It depends on the people, on the values of society, the values of our leaders and most important the connection between the leaders and the population. LOOK, we have everything in laws and orders, such as housing, transport , health cares, education and the latest Giant Helium surveillance balloon to keep a watchful eye over Singapore. Isnt that great ! That why, insensitive people always makes the world a bitter place full of jealousy and ignorance. We should be responsible people, whatever we do, we should finish what or where we started. This is my personal views of the whole matters that are happening daily around the world. Feeling blessed to live in Singapore.
