While its from Part the Third, is seems Jubilant enough for Christmas Eve. Here you have a little teaser from Last Weekends Concert at St. Dennis Church. The entirely volunteer ensemble really pulled up their socks for this one! You will be blown away at the quality of their sound and their solid musicianship! (Especially considering this is the final number in a gruelling 2.5 hr run). Oh, yes, the things I do for an undergrad conducting class...Thanks Gareth Jones for humouring/supporting me with this massive project, and to Kim Raffin and Fr. Boyle for their unwavering support of my crazy ideas and over-the-top projects. I am proud to say that this concert raised enough in donations to purchase 40 1/2 & 3/4 size violins, 8 violas and 6 cellos for the school music program. A CD of highlights will be available in the church bookstore sometime soon in the new year. Merry Christmas, Everyone.
