While job searching I came across this on Craigslist. Needless to say it caught my attention when it mentioned Joss Whedon. It then went into talking about different guilds, such as the ranger guild. This seems pretty sweet. The Four Guilds The Guilds represent a very important part of Trackers. You may not always end up teaching in that Guild, but your affiliation is important. You dont need to know all the skills in these guilds, but it is key to have affinity and strong desire to develop them. The Trackers Village can take care of the rest (if you work your butt off). Rangers Guild (Reconnect the Village) - The Rangers are the hunters and protectors of the village. Versed in the arts of wilderness survival, tracking, and awareness, they remind us all of our affinity to the wild and ways of the forest. If you are partial to tracking, wilderness survival, archery, or bow making then join the Rangers Guild. Wilders Guild (Restore the Earth) - The Wilders are caretakers, restoring the land to what it once was and beyond. They tend to the balance of the village, guiding the needs of the people into harmony with the rhythms of life in all seasons. If you live the way of rural or urban homesteading, love bacon, appreciate the hunt for wild plants, like goats more than people (awkward), want to restore the wild into every nook and cranny of this world then join the Wilders Guild. Mariners Guild (Respect the Waters) - The Mariners Guild thrive by the waterways. They fish, build boats, and connect our world by wind and sea. Mariners chart their course by the stars. They are masters of healthy economy, barter, and trade while by salty wisdom, they demand respect for the waters and all life in its depths. If you can fish (we mean really fish), kayak, sail, tie fantastic knots, play marbles, and talk like a pirate, then join the Mariners Guild. Artisans Guild (Remember our Story) - The Artisans Guild regale us with their theater. Their trade and circus open our eyes to both noble purpose and possibilities. The Artisans are story keepers; travelers bare-of-foot, walking and sleeping under the twilight sky. They recall and share a timeless grief and praise from the very stars above. Their words, lyrics, and tales, can cut to bone and bleed us dry. They ask one and all: please, always... Remember Our Story.
