While on a relaxing weekend in Sedona with a friend I met Peter - TopicsExpress

While on a relaxing weekend in Sedona with a friend I met Peter Alan Gersten who takes people up to the top of Bell Rock - at no charge. He has been to the top about 300 times and he has personally helped 557 (and counting) others to the top. He invited me to join a group he was taking up the next day (Sunday) and, after thinking about it for a few hours, decided to go. It was one of, if not the most, challenging experiences of my life. I am not a rock climber and had never attempted anything like this in the past. But he was confident I could do it and, though it was scary at times, I persevered and made it to the top. What an awesome feeling to be standing so high up (5100 feet above sea level and about 600 feet from the base of the rock) and on top of such a vortex of energy with an amazing 360 degree view of Sedona. I will never forget this experience and the people I met today, especially Peter, who so generously gives of his time to help people have this incredible, once in a lifetime experience. Feeling invincible. More details and pictures to come.
