While our politicians are getting very busy positioning themselves for the coming elections, slowly, silently and surreptitiously China has been occupying our islands. China does not have the balls to occupy Wall Street. It just has to settle for the Straight Path (trans: Daang Matuwid, huh!). And to think that all that the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) is doing is to take pictures ... pati ba naman sa usaping territorial encroachment, selfie, selfie pa rin tayo??? The reason why foreigners have little regard for our laws is that we dont know how to enforce them ourselves. The Chinese government has sentenced Filipino drug mules to death. And we just treat illegal aliens with a little slap on the wrist? So, there, welcome to the Republic of China. Anyhow, the Chinese businessmen have long been controlling our economy and almost all that we use are made in China. We just tolerate or even patronize them. Masarap din kaya ang Chinese food! So whats all this fuss about? Or should we just learn Mandarin? While leaders talk tough, its the ordinary people down the line who bear the brunt.
