While playing with Diya today, she got a tiniest of scratches on her leg, and I immediately gave her and the scratch my full attention and calmed her down. As she sleeps, I come to check my Facebook (as we all do!) and see an image of a young girl same age as Diya or maybe a little younger with blood oozing through her head and moving down her face as she cries. I cant stop my tears seeing this young little girl in so much pain, a little scratch on my Diya made mecwant to hug her, hold her, soothe and calm her, I cant care to even imagine what the mother of the girl must be going through seeing her daughters blood. Part of me feels blessed as I write this status, and part of me feels an extreme pain for that young girl. I pray for these children or the parents, for the men and the women of the world to be blessed with safety, may they be able to see the joys of their children growing up without the fear of bombs and bullets. Allah please bless the humankind with the heart to love, to share happiness and stop this barbaric behaviour.
