While reading Nehemiah 4 today, this stuck out to me: When you are mocked for your faith, or criticized for doing what you know is right, refuse to respond in the same way or to become discouraged. Tell God how you feel and remember his promise to be with you. This will give you encouragement and strength to carry on. There are so many times that we are mocked for our beliefs, and the first response is to fight back or prove a point. By bringing it all to God, he helps to sooth the hurt left by words. He can help you find strength and courage you didnt know you had, and be with you in your battles.
